I am a Human before I am an African
The Brutal Killings of Foreigners
The hashtag #SayNoToXenophobia started when| Foreigners running for their lives followed by SA citizens |
South Africans have turned the hashtag into action which shows that when working together for a good cause a lot can be achieved. -xenophobia-on-social-media The Government is also condemning the behavior. In addition a peace march was held in Durban on 16 April which many people participated in supporting the foreigners. /www.youtube.com/ The attacks have left us with the question that we should be asking our selves as in to why people had to risk their lives and fight for our freedom during apartheid.? The brutal killings should be evident that we have forgotten as in how it was like to be treated as less of a human being and seeing others given better treatment.
I agree with what has been said by many organizations on social media because the Government needs to intervene by making sure that he provides skills to fellow South Africans through different programs and also provide job opportunities to assure that no South African citizen will blame the Government for not providing them with skills and job opportunities. government-response-to-xenophobia The Government should also put procedures like ensuring that there is no foreigner in our country without correct documents.
Many local celebrities and organizations responded well on social media because if they did not raise their views there is not much that could have been done because of their fight together it resulted in action made because when people unite against a good cause success is guaranteed

yes black life matter we are all black we device to be treated like normal black people.
ReplyDeleteIndeed people should not be treated as less of human beings due to the color of their skin.
DeleteNo matter where you come from we are all one
Deletewe are all equal therefore we should treat each other with respect instead of hurting other people so lets stop xenophobia
ReplyDeleteThat is what I am emphasizing that xenophobia must stop
DeleteThese xenophobic has not only impacted the victims' families but also the relationship between South Africa and other foreign countries.
ReplyDeleteExactly the one thing that we should consider is how we want them to treat us when we go to their countries while we made their lives miserable while they were in our country.
DeleteGood to see the government taking action,I just wish that they were not putting up a face as one of their PR strategy, but actually helping out.
ReplyDeleteI think the Government cannot do this alone but with the help of our local residents there is a lot that can be done.
DeleteIt saddens my heart when I watch this video I mean how do a normal human being burn another person alive, this is sad and heart breaking
ReplyDeleteIt is very sad but if we can unite together and try to change the negative and cruel mentality of South Africans that is when we can be able to stop this madness.
ReplyDeletethis is a very sensitive issue and the way you executed it very interesting in the sense that it touches people and it can bring a significant change on how people treat each other
ReplyDeleteThat is why it is very important for us to teach each other about the importance of caring for one another
Delete`people should learn to see everyone as their brother or sister, not minding the skin color or language spoken.
ReplyDeleteI think the concept of Ubuntu to South Africans means nothing, I don't get it why people hate each other so much.. #SayNoToXenophobia
ReplyDeletepower to that lets not forget the UBUNTU phylosophy
